Vocalist/drummer Dottie Dodgion is celebrating 67 years of making music. The This Isn’t Sometimes, This Is Always Concert is a celebration of Dottie’s life in music, a journey that has taken her from the jazz clubs in San Francisco and Los Angeles to Basin Street East in NYC performing with Benny Goodman to Washington D.C. back to California where she has settled in the Monterey Bay area. She has played with such jazz notables as Herbie Hancock and Charlie Mingus as well as many others. Her trio includes Heath Proskin on bass and Martin Headman on piano. Currently, her trio plays at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach..
