Jon Cleary was born in England, but is associated with New Orleans; a place where musicianship is street-cred…which makes Cleary a very dangerous man, indeed. A keyboardist/singer/songwriter “triple threat,” Cleary has performed with Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King and more, while his trademark remains the greasy, rollicking music found in Crescent City dives such as the Maple Leaf Bar and Tipitina’s.
