Belgian harmonica legend Toots Thielemans is still bringing down the house since his first big break when he toured with Benny Goodman in 1950. The NEA Jazz Master has performed with exceptional talents spanning the decades including George Shearing, Bill Evans, Jaco Pastorius, Paul Simon and Pat Methany, to name just a few. Guggenheim Fellow and longtime musical collaborator, pianist Kenny Werner, is a stand out in his own right. The chemistry between the two is evident right away – the wistful melodies played by Thielemans are complimented and supported beautifully by the sensitive piano work of Werner.
