“Del Morao is special … tenacious and extravagant.” – New York Times
One of the most sought-after guitarists on today’s flamenco scene, Diego del Morao is known for his work with such notable artists as José Mercé, Diego el Cigala and Niña Pastori. The fact that the legendary Paco de Lucía made a cameo appearance on Del Morao’s most recent solo release, 2011’s Orate, speaks to the level of respect he commands. The son of the legendary guitarist “Moraíto,” who along with family patriarch Manuel Morao, developed the signature sound of traditional Jerez-style flamenco guitar, Del Morao takes that family legacy into the 21st century. Expect an authentic night of flamenco with dancing, singing and amazing guitar work.
