The new album is a seamless musical experience that moves between different styles with remarkable fluidity. Bound together by James’ smooth 70s-soul voice, it marks a new and exciting chapter in the career of the 33 year-old singer/songwriter. Since his 2008 debut, James has carefully cultivated a blend of jazz, hip-hop, R&B and electronica, exposing himself as a musical omnivore who seeks inspiration from a variety of sources. With his new album, James gives back with inspiration of his own.
