A highly successful east coast touring band, Dead On Live is finally making its west coast debut! Creating the Grateful Dead experience note for note!

Dead On Live, led by touring and recording veteran multi-instrumentalist Marc Muller (Shania Twain, Bruce Springsteen, Tommy Shaw) has become recognized as one of the top acts to pay tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead based on their unique approach of recreating, literally note for note, all of the music and vocals as recorded and released during the Grateful Dead’s illustrious and stylistically diverse career.

In 1970, the Grateful Dead recorded and released their 4th and 5th studio albums within 9 months: Workingman’s Dead and American Beauty. Featuring 18 songs, including “Uncle John’s Band”, “Casey Jones”, “Box of Rain”, “Sugar Magnolia” and “Ripple”, they fused rock, blues, bluegrass, folk and country music, and in 1 year redefined the direction of the band away from the jam-based psychedelic 60’s to a more song-based, traditional sound of the 70’s.

Muller has assembled an impressive cast of world class musicians that have been able to reproduce virtually every note of every instrument, as well as all of the beautifully orchestrated vocal arrangements that are a trademark of these 2 American classics, to a level that’s perhaps never been accomplished and performed live in concert before.

Don’t miss this truly unique presentation by Marc and crew as they pay tribute to this wonderful era in the Grateful Dead’s diverse and beloved history by performing Workingman’s Dead and American Beauty in their entirety, absolutely “Dead On Live”!
