Their outstanding, all acoustic, Gypsy-Jazz and Uptown Swing music will have your ears smiling and your toes tapping!  Music lovers of all stripes can expect a one-of-a-kind concert and an unforgettable show on October 12, 2013 at Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz.

Everyone loves a good song, we crave stories told well. Guitarist, vocalist, composer, and lyricist George Cole’s mission to write another chapter to the Great American Songbook – so far so good!  He is a consummate performer, bringing vast experience and enormous talent to each show and every project he is a part of. George Cole’s band swings with energy and life delivering all original music with vocal harmonies and world-class musicianship. Their sound has been called “Eurocana” – a delightful, original, and sumptuous combining of Great American Songbook style tunes and the Gypsy-jazz originated by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.

George Cole and his band: San Francisco native George Cole has toured with Joe Walsh, recorded with producer Roy Thomas Baker (Queen and Paul McCartney), and performed, played guitar and sang duets with jazz legend Keely Smith. He recorded on Chris Isaak’s platinum selling Forever Blue album. He was instructor and mentor to Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt of Green Day. George is now recording with Grammy award winning engineer/producer John Cuniberti (Joe Satriani, Sammy Hagar) and signed on with David Grisman’s Acoustic Oasis/Acoustic Disc label; Alisa Rose: A presence on the Bay Area’s Classical, bluegrass, and creative music stages, Alisa Rose has performed with diverse artists. Up until 2012, Alisa was a member the Grammy nominated Quartet San Francisco; Mathias Minquet: French/Argentinian guitarist Mathias Minquet is an exceptionally talented multi-instrumentalist who is a graduate of both The Sorbonne in Paris and Berklee College of Music. An excellent performer, Mathias’ varied musical experience is wide-ranging in scope and his skilled mastery of many styles adds “Paris Flash” to the mix; Kaeli Earle: With an energetic, fearless spark that lights up the stage, Kaeli Earle is a captivating presence on stage. Her vocals are fresh yet classic and her fluid bass lines give the group a rock solid underpinning.
