Singer/songwriter Jesse Autumn presents a night of beautiful, earthy & ethereal chamber pop ballads. Autumn’s soaring voice and intricate piano, harp & pump organ accompaniment – often played simultaneously by herself – joins forces with the rough and sonorous beauty of cello ensemble – Barry Phillips, Aria DiSalvio and Lewis Rawlinson – with new string arrangements by Phillips, a recent Grammy award winner.
Opening the show is folk band Grandad Coyote, lead by the smokey crooning of songwriter and guitarist Stephen Miller, backed by slide guitar, cello, trumpet, accordion and musical saw. Stephen Miller’s songs reveal a world populated by young lovers and hobo shamans, somewhere between the mystical and the humble, between dreaming and awake.
